Our Staff in Crystal, MN

Lori is a people person and a greeter extraordinaire! She enjoys her daily interactions with people at the clinic in many different capacities throughout the day. She was a teacher and children’s ministry director before joining our staff. Outside of work, Lori is a wife, mother, and grandma to 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has worked in the optical field for more than 5 years. What she enjoys about her job is the people! She says both her co-workers and the patients are amazing and kind. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys crocheting and hanging out with her family and her dog, Titan.

Lynn comes to Crystal Vision Clinic after over 7 years of working as a nursing assistant. She is enjoying learning something completely different. When Lynn is not working, she enjoys reading, watching movies, bowling, and hanging out with her bearded dragon.

Emma joined Crystal Vision Clinic after working with children at a childcare center. She is currently a full-time college student majoring in finance. Emma loves interacting with our patients and seeing all of the fun glasses they pick out! She also enjoys making cold-processed soap from scratch in her spare time.

Vicki has many years of reception experience and enjoys interacting with our patients and her team. Outside of work, Vicki loves traveling, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Stacy is a fantastic addition to our team. After dedicating time as a stay-at-home mom and pursuing her education at Anoka Technical College for Medical Coding, she’s now working on her associate’s degree in health information management. Stacy loves the diversity of her work here at CVC. Away from the office, she loves live music, BBQ gatherings, and cheering on her kids at sports events. Fun fact: Stacy is the eldest of 11 siblings—she has 3 sisters and 7 brothers!

Hannah’s favorite part of her job is connecting with patients and showing that we care for each of them—not just their eyes! Before working at Crystal Vision Clinic, Hannah worked as a retail manager. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys traveling and spending time with her 2 dogs, Dixie and Dany. A fun fact about Hannah is that she was born with a broken nose!

Lisa is our lead in the optometric assistant department. She loves interacting with patients. During her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to movies, playing video games, reading books, and having game nights with friends.

Melissa has been in the optometry field for over 2 years, working as an optician before joining Crystal Vision Clinic. Her favorite part of her job is learning and helping our patients! Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling, hiking, rock hunting, and crafts. She has also taken dance lessons for over 20 years!

Mia joined us with 2 years of experience as an optometric technician. Every day, she expands her knowledge and connects with patients for exceptional experiences. Outside the office, she’s a multifaceted enthusiast, playing softball, reading, crocheting, and exploring the world. Interesting fact: her name means “Thank You” in Cameroon, reflecting her grateful outlook on life.

Rebecca came to us after working as a career navigation counselor for a non-profit that helps adults with disabilities. She loves her job here because she learns something new every day and gets to meet awesome new people. In her free time, you’ll often find her enjoying the outdoors, reading, dancing, and weightlifting. Oh, and she’s double-jointed in her elbows! How cool is that?

Meet Kate S., who came to us with a year of experience as an ophthalmic assistant at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. Kate’s favorite aspect of her job lies in the continuous learning and meaningful connections with patients. Beyond the optometry world, she is an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast, often accompanied by her loyal dog. A fascinating tidbit about Kate is her possession of a second-degree black belt in karate.

Eugene is Crystal Vision Clinic’s optical manager. He is an ABO-certified optician who has been working in the optical world for 18 years. He has also had a career as a teacher and vice principal. When asked what he loves about his job, Eugene said, “everything!” In particular, he enjoys the combination of technical skills and fashions the job requires.

Rowan is originally from Mora, MN, home of a very large Dala horse! Their favorite part of their job is helping patients and the work environment. When not working, Rowan enjoys caring for their plants and animals and loves to bake.

Kimberly has been an optician for over 20 years. She is an ABO-certified optician, and what she loves most about her job are the patients and her co-workers. A fun fact about Kimberly is that her favorite color is pink—maybe you can tell that from her picture!

Em is a Crystal native who enjoys helping patients from our community each day! When Em is not at work, she enjoys traveling, concerts, and spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and many pets. She has cats, bunnies, chickens, and a dog!

Miko joined us after working at America’s Best with 2 years of experience as an optician. She loves helping patients find the perfect frame and seeing the big smile they have when they try their new glasses for the first time. Outside of work, Miko likes to draw and play video games. A fun fact about Miko is that she was born in the California Bay Area.

Gail is a career optician with over 30 years of optical experience. She enjoys both the technical and fashion aspects of her work and building meaningful relationships with patients. Outside work, she’s a fan of mid-century modern architecture, fashion, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her family, including her son. Gail’s beloved companion is her black cat, Athena.

Kate G. brings a wealth of experience to her role as an optician, with over 14 years in the field. Her background includes experience in hospitality, childcare, and a bookstore. Kate’s favorite part of her job is the opportunity to meet and work with cool people. Away from work, Kate is an avid reader who finds solace in books. During the summer, she enjoys cultivating herbs and peppers and aspires to expand her gardening skills. Kate’s world revolves around her beloved dog, Mimi, whom she absolutely adores.

Tina has been working in the optical field for 22 years. She is currently our billing specialist, fills in for other departments as needed, and helps with the clinic’s tech needs. She loves helping people and working with the challenge of tracking claims as a billing specialist. Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and learning about holistic nutrition.

Sherri has worked in healthcare management for the past 20 years. She is committed to exceeding expectations by working with the team to help provide exceptional patient experiences and personalized care. When she is away from work, Sherri enjoys music, new adventures, time in nature, gardening, and spending time with her grandbabies.
